"Fresh" - The Creativity Project Monthly Theme

Fresh

Once again I had big plans to capture "fresh" but none of them came through. I planned to visit a florist and a bakery for some shots, but it just didn't happen! I ended up waiting for the elements to tell me when to shoot.

"Fresh" Ice from sea spray

Sandy Hook Bay was freshly iced over



"Fresh" Ice Sculptures - We were calling that an ice cactus



"Fresh" Ice coating the taller grasses.

The shorter grasses had these formations from the "fresh" ice

Even the dock to the ferry was closed from the ice.


As you can see, I let the elements tell me what was "fresh" in the end.

    Love all of these shots! First two are my favorites and of course the snow angel ;) Another month checked off the list. Ready for next month?

    Dan! I LOVE that first snow shot. How cool is that. And heck, snow is just about as fresh as you can possibly get : ). Way to go. I can't believe the ice on the boat dock. Craziness! Did you go out long on that 0 degree day? I heard South Jersey had some pretty crazy ice sidewalks and streets this morning. I thought of you and Sharon. Wishing you a happy weekend! Love, Becky

      I didn't last to long in that cold! I went out for a few shots but mostly from the warm car! It is still pretty icy out there today! Hope you have a great weekend too!

    wow, the ice on the grass shots are amazing. you did a great job capturing the cold, it makes me cold just seeing these.

    Oh my gosh, the ice shots are AMAZING!!! I love the ice cactus! And the dock shot looks like something that should be in the newspaper! I'm in need of a jacket now... brrrrr! Happy fresh new year, Dan!
