The Creativity Project | Monthly Theme

The theme for this month is "Umbrella"
Being that I don't use one myself, I figured I'd show you the reasons for one.
Maybe, even show a few reasons to leave the umbrella at home!

"The best thing one can do when it's raining is to let it rain."    ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

"No one would have crossed the ocean if he could have gotten off the ship in the storm"  Charles Kettering

"If  you want to see the sunshine, you have to weather the storm"  ~Frank Lane

“Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain.”
                                                                                               ― Vivian Greene
"Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sky"      ~Rabindranath Tagore

Thanks for weathering the storm with me!

Please head over to Stephanie's post and continue the circle for this month's Creativity Project theme.

  1. Dan- WOW! Awesome lighting shots in the sky! This might sound crazy but your photos made me miss those Texas nights sitting on the porch with my dad watching the sky light up with the lighting across the sky. I gotta say though love the image and quote you have “Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain.” by ― Vivian Greene ... Wonderful images!

    1. Thank you so much! The flood was after a torrential downpour and it was localized to that block near the train tracks. The shot was taken in Long Branch, NJ
